Chris Heath is an Associate Director for Pratt and Whitney, currently working as the Test Engineering Chief for the Product Delivery Center (PDC) aircraft engine and auxiliary power unit (APU) programs. His primary responsibilities include leading an organization of engineers from three technical disciplines overseeing production testing, facility qualifications and support for aftermarket and sustainment testing around the world.
He also currently serves as the Global Enterprise Chair for the RTX VETS Employee Resource Group (ERG) of over 30,000 service members, veterans, family members, and supporters. He is responsible to the RTX Board of Directors and CHRO for establishing and directing strategic initiatives across the RTX enterprise in support of the ERG’s mission and vision including military spouse and family advocacy, policy and governance, talent acquisition, employee engagement, professional development, and development of strategic public and private sector partnerships.
Chris joined Pratt and Whitney in 2017 after spending 10+ years in the U.S. Marine Corps on the F/A-18 and F-35 aircraft platforms in support of OIF/OEF/Maritime operations. He has continued to have increasing levels of scope and responsibilities over the last 18+ years in the A&D industry leading teams in engineering, quality, production, aftermarket operations, and field operations.
He grew up in Mesa, Arizona and currently resides in Connecticut with his two boys, ages 12 and 13. He holds a master’s degree in engineering management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics, and an associate degree in Criminal Justice. His passions include studying public policy and forging an integrated community of leaders across the public, private, and government sectors in the Armed Services community.
