Event date: January 22, 2026 · Lakeland, Florida

Continued service took the field at the American Bowl in Lakeland, Florida, on January 22, 2026. The event brought 120 college football players together with 13 Veteran coaches from across the country and aired in prime time on NFL Network.

Working alongside Soldiers to Sidelines, ZeroMils highlighted how coaching gives Veterans another way to lead, mentor, and contribute to their communities. The event put a national spotlight on Veteran coaches as role models and on their ability to inspire the next generation to serve.

ZeroMils also hosted a Military Thriving reception with partners including Soldiers to Sidelines, the American Bowl, and Army Cadet leadership. The gathering brought military and community leaders together around a shared commitment to those who serve and their families.

The American Bowl illustrated an important part of the Military Thriving mission: recognizing the experience and leadership Veterans bring to community life. On the field and around the reception, the focus was on continued service, connection, and the opportunities Veterans have to contribute after their time in uniform.
