Event date: June 10, 2026 · Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.

On June 10, 2026, ZeroMils’ third annual Military Thriving Change Forum at Georgetown University brought together 150 leaders from 25 states in person, with another 600 joining through YouTube and LinkedIn.
The gathering focused on helping service members, Veterans, and military spouses make more informed decisions about their next chapters as students, employees, and entrepreneurs. It also created space for states and regions to share approaches, compare challenges, and learn from one another.
Conversations and workshops contributed lessons for the Military Thriving Community Playbook and regional forums. The emphasis was on connecting the organizations and people who can help military-connected families build purposeful lives wherever they choose to live and work.
The forum brought business, higher education, nonprofit, and community perspectives to the same table. That exchange is central to ZeroMils’ work: convening partners, identifying barriers and opportunities, and helping communities develop approaches suited to their own needs. The lessons shared at Georgetown became part of the continuing regional conversation about Military Thriving cultures and communities.
